Terms of Service

Starter terms for review. They are intentionally not presented as an approved agreement.

1. The service

Hookk provides tools to create webhook subscriptions, trigger events, deliver event payloads to configured endpoints, and inspect delivery activity. Features, availability, plan limits, and integrations may change as the service develops.

2. Accounts and access

You are responsible for the activity conducted through your account, protecting account credentials and API keys, and promptly revoking keys that are exposed or no longer needed. Use only sign-in methods available to your account.

3. Your events and endpoints

You are responsible for the events, payloads, endpoint URLs, and signing secrets you configure. Only send data you are entitled to process and disclose, and ensure your receivers can safely process repeated requests. Do not use the service to violate law, interfere with another system, or transmit content you are not authorized to send.

4. Delivery and availability

Event creation queues delivery work; it does not guarantee that a third-party endpoint will accept or process a request. Network errors, receiver behavior, provider availability, and configured plan limits can affect delivery. Retry behavior and controls are described in the product and may change.

5. Plans and billing

The application currently displays Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Paid checkout and subscription management use Stripe. The applicable price, billing terms, taxes, cancellation process, and plan availability must be confirmed against the active checkout flow and final commercial terms before publication.

6. Suspension and termination

This section requires operator and legal review. Define the grounds and process for suspending or closing accounts, how users can close accounts, and how associated data is handled before publishing final terms.

7. Disclaimers, liability, and governing law

These provisions depend on the service operator, the jurisdictions served, and applicable law. Obtain qualified legal advice and insert reviewed language before treating this document as an agreement.

8. Contact and changes

Publish the legal operator's name and a monitored legal contact channel here before launch. The current public contact route is the Contact page. Add an effective date and a process for notifying users of material changes after the final terms are approved.
